Functions
- Acting as a bridge between the Ministry, stakeholders and missions in Europe and The Americas
- Coordinating relations between the United Republic of Tanzania and promotion of Tanzania's Interests in Europe and The Americas
- Preparing and analysing briefs, position papers, reports on Europe and The Americas
- Participating in regional and international meetings
- Cooperating with our missions in exploiting economic opportunities in the region
- Facilitating and coordinating Joint Permanent Commissions (JPC)
- Monitoring, evaluating and following up the implementation of decisions and agreements where Tanzania is a party
- Coordinate and facilitate Joint Permanent Commissions (JPC) meetings
- Prepare, review and analyze briefs, reports, position papers and speeches
