Functions

1. To coordinate and monitor the implementation of the East African Community Treaty and its Protocols in areas of Economic Infrastructure Development;
2. To analyse and respond to public inquiries, investigate and advise on resolution of stakeholders complaints on Economic Infrastructure;
3. To coordinate and monitor the implementation of the agreed projects and programmes in economic infrastructure;
4. To prepare and disseminate/give feed back to sector ministries and other stakeholders on the decisions and agreements reached in the EAC meetings and monitor their implementation;
5. To identify and analyse research areas in economic infrastructure, mobilise research funds and coordinate research exercises as well as disseminate research findings to Government and key stakeholders;
6. To analyse and provide information to the public on implications of implementation of all agreements on economic infrastructure
