Functions
- Promotion of Tanzania's Interests in Africa
- To follow-up the implementation of Tanzania's Foreign policy in the region
- To analyze various situations that occur in the region and advise the Ministry accordingly
- To facilitate Tanzania's participation in regional and International Meetings/Conferences
- To cooperate with our missions abroad to exploit various economic opportunities for Tanzania
- To prepare and analyze briefs, reports and speeches
- To facilitate and coordinate the activities of Joint Permanent Commissions
- To coordinate and facilitate Tanzania participation in the activities of regional and international organisations
- Monitoring, evaluating and following up the implementation of decisions and agreements where Tanzania is a party.
