Stone Town Doors [Zanzibar doors]
The doors have become synonymous with Swahili culture. Zanzibar doors are a work of art and have a unique style.

One of the oldest doors in Stone Town can be found at the entrance to the Old Fort and at the entry of the Zanzibar Conservation Centre (formerly the Old Customs House) along the Forodhani seafront. Of also great significance are the Zanzibar chests. Both are available for purchase made to order.
