President Kikwete sends Condolences to UN Secretary General

His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a condolence message to Dr. Ban Ki-Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations following a UN plane accident at Kinshasa Airport in the Democratic Republican of Congo causing deaths of 32 UN personnel.

His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, the President of the United Republic of Tanzania has sent a condolence message to Dr. Ban Ki-Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations following a UN plane accident at Kinshasa Airport in the Democratic Republican of Congo causing deaths of 32 UN personnel.

In his statement, the President said he was deeply saddened by the news of the plane crush and conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the UN family for the losses suffered in terms of lives and properties.

"At this moment of agony and distress, we share your pain and pray to the Almighty God to give the families and relatives of the deceased strength and fortitude to bear this moment of grieving" The President said in his statement.

We wish a quick recovery to the ones injured during the catastrophic accident.
