The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon Juma Mahadhi Maalim has praised the outgoing Rwandese High Commission to Tanzania, Madam Fatma Ndangiza for
striving to elevate the Tanzania and Rwandese bilateral ties to an imaginable height.

Speaking at a special he organised in honour of the outgoing High Commissioner, the Deputy Minister said Madam Ndangiza was one of the few woman in Africa who strived to accomplish the best in their tour of duty while in the country.

He said Tanzania will remember her as a woman who not only represented women but also men in ensuring that a number of projects such the central raiway corridor were concluded for the interest of the people of the country.

On her part, the High Commissioner thanked Tanzania for the excellency in providing the assistance Rwanda needed after emerging in the 1994 Genocide especially in harbouring Rwandan refugees
adding that Mwalimu Julius Nyerere strived a lot to ensure that the world understood that there was a genocide crisis in Rwanda.
