Functions
- Liaising with international organisations in advancing development interests of the region
- Undertaking research and policy analysis on various regional development issues
- Monitoring, evaluating and follow-up of the implementation of the regional programmes of action, decisions and agreements
- Providing technical advice on Economic cooperation
- Participating in regional and international meetings
- Preparing and reviewing briefs, position papers, speeches and reports on various regional issues
- Participating effectively in the SADC organs for politics, peace and security
