Functions
- Coordinating relations between the United Republic of Tanzania and promotion of Tanzania's Interests in the Middle East
- Preparing and analysing briefs, position papers, reports on Middle East
- Participating in regional and international meetings
- Facilitation of communication between Tanzania and Middle East business representatives
- Cooperating with our missions in exploiting economic opportunities in the region
- Preparing, reviewing and monitoring Joint Permanent Commissions (JPC)
- Facilitating and coordinating activities between the United Republic of Tanzania and Middle East based Organizations
- Monitoring, evaluating and following up the implementation of decisions and agreements where Tanzania is a party.
