Functions
- Acting as a bridge between the Ministry, stakeholders and missions in Asia and Australasia
- Coordinating relations between the United Republic of Tanzania and promotion of Tanzania's Interests in Asia and Australasia
- Preparing and analysing briefs, position papers, reports on Asia and Australasia
- Participating in regional and international meetings
- Cooperating with our missions in exploiting economic opportunities in the region
- Facilitating and coordinating Joint Permanent Commissions (JPC) meetings
- Monitoring, evaluating and following up the implementation of decisions and agreements where Tanzania is a party.
